MarieAsh 2026 Client Agreement
Welcome to MarieAsh. To ensure the best possible service, we have established the following updated policies and guidelines for our valued clients. We kindly request your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these policies. Please read them carefully before signing.
1. Appointment Scheduling; When scheduling an appointment, it is essential to allocate the appropriate amount of time for your stylist to provide exceptional service. If you wish to add additional services, please discuss them with your stylist prior to your appointment or at the beginning of your visit. Additional services requested during the appointment are subject to availability. If your preferred stylist is unavailable, we encourage you to select another stylist whose schedule aligns with yours until your preferred stylist is available. Please note that all stylists work at varying speeds and techniques, which may result in a shorter or longer length of time for your service. WE ask that you allow adequate time for your appointment, and if time constraints arise, you are still required to pay for the service rendered. Should you need to return to complete the service due to personal obligations, additional fees may apply.
NOTE: Clients who work remotely or take calls during their appointments, we strive to accommodate you during your service; however, we ask that you be mindful of the salon environment as well as other clients being simultaneously receiving services. Excessive breaks for meetings or calls, frequent disruptions, or requests for a quiet salon environment may impact the flow of your service and cause delays for other clients. In such cases, the appointment may need to be rescheduled at the clients expense. Also, please understand that we provide shared wifi access to our clients as a courtesy, but cannot guarantee wifi access will always be granted for personal or work use.
2. Timeliness and Grace Period: To maintain the efficiency of our salon and as a courtesy to other clients, we operate on a strict schedule. A 15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals. After this period, your appointment may be subject to cancellation or rescheduling, and a cancellation fee may apply. At MarieAsh, we value everyone's time and aim to treat all appointments fairly.
3. Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your service within the remaining time, though your appointment is subject to cancellation. The following policies apply:
• You will be charged the full service fee along with a $35 late fee if the service proceeds.
• If rescheduling is necessary due to tardiness, you will be charged 50% of the originally booked service fee.
4. Cancellations: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Failure to provide sufficient notice or missing an appointment will result in a cancellation fee of half the service fee.
Please note the following deposit policies:
• ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE
• Deposits can be credited to future appointments within six months.
For installations:
• If you cancel after securing a date with a deposit, all deposits remain non-refundable.
5. No-Show Policy: A no-show fee occurs when a client misses an appointment without providing notice. No-shows will result in the following:
• You will be charged the full service fee and will be required to pay prior to booking future appointments.
• Future appointments will require a deposit, regardless of prior history.
6. Deposit Requirements: All new clients are required to pay a deposit equivalent to 50% of the estimated cost of the initial service when booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service. Subsequent appointments do not require a deposit unless one of the following conditions applies:
• You have previously canceled multiple appointments.
• Your scheduled service exceeds $300.
• You have incurred a no-show fee.
7. Refund Policy: All sales of services, deposits, and gift cards are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
8. Retightening Policies for Sisterlocks and Microlocks
• For Sisterlocs: A follow-up retightening session may be included in your package. However, it must be scheduled within 4-5 weeks of the installation date. If this timeframe is not met, the included retightening session will be forfeited and regular rates will apply.
• For Microlocs: The first retightening is not included in the package and must be paid in full.
9. Shampooing Guidelines: To ensure the longevity of your locs and minimize slippage:
• Shampooing routine should be minimized/ adjusted during the settling-in period.
• Proper braiding and banding are required when shampooing.
• Follow all guidance provided by your stylist.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in slippage, which could potentially require additional maintenance at your expense.
